How can I see the recent payments I have made?

You can find a list of your recent payments in the "Receipts" widget on your dashboard page:

Or alternatively via the "Receipts" menu on the left for a full payment history.

Clicking on the payment allows you to see what the payment has been allocated to (in the example below, it has been used to pay the deposit and September rent):
